Craziness!! {A bit of a personal post} :: Greensboro, NC Photographer

That's what life has been lately...pure craziness!! In good ways and in not so good ways. I haven't been around on the blogosphere lately cause of all of this. But here's a quick update on what's been going on and where things are going. As a lot of my friends and family know, my husband and I had a pretty big hit to our income and we have been struggling to figure out how we're going to recover and make sure our finances don't completely fall apart. All I can say to that is man God's good! We have had people left and right helping us in any way they can! When God says He will provide and money will come out of nowhere He wasn't kidding! It's been so humbling and amazing to see how this is going to work out. Jason and I are trying to find different ways to provide for each other and Harrison and God has definitely blessed that. It may not be in ways we had thought or had planned, but it's happening. We're still trying to figure everything out, but this has made us realize our need for God more than we had before. It's always good to be reminded, even if it isn't in the most pleasant way!

Due to all of this change it has made me realize my intense desire and passion for photography and the fact that I am good enough to grow this business and let it be another source of income for us. How awesome to be able to do something I love AND get paid to do it?!?! Pretty awesome! I was already pretty blessed to work with the most adorable and sweet little ones and families that I do...so adding in photography just feels too good to be true!

I have so much work ahead of me...I know a business doesn't bloom overnight. I have a LOT of tending and growing and shaping to do. But I think I'm off to a great start...and it's all due to the blessings God has given us and this desire in my heart, as well as how extremely supportive my family and friends have been with this new endeavor! Especially my husband. He believes in me so much, and that makes pursuing dreams so much easier! Even if I fail or have a lot of bumps along the way, he's always pushing me along and encouraging me. Thanks baby!!

I have quite a few posts coming your way in the next couple weeks! I need to share with you all some past sessions that I have done for some wonderful (and extremely photogenic!) clients I have had. I also have a couple charity events I have been asked to photograph, which is going to be so awesome! And potentially stir up some more business! Tomorrow I'll be photographing a Zumbathon where all proceeds go to a Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation. It's going to be so fun! Then I have a first birthday party for a sweet little boy to photograph! I can't wait!!

More to come soon! Be on the lookout!!

♥ Victoria
